This specific Elan 360S also benefits from a full composite main bulkhead and lightweight (foam cored) interior joinery for a significant overall weight saving. All the bulkheads on these yachts are also fully laminated into the hull (no agricultural bonding and excessive use of sealants here!)

Elan are famous for simply building boats better using patented manufacturing techniques and superior build quality standards. Their VAIL (Vacuum Assisted Infusion Lamination) produces very stiff/strong hull and deck components with the added benefit of precise weight control.
